Hi, I'm Richard-but most folks just call me RIck.

I proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Armament Specialist, working on everything from A-10 and F-16 gun systems to missile launchers and bomb racks.  Over the years, I had the honor of serving in Germany, Portugal, Israel, Afghanistan, Italy, Romania, Arizona, and Nevada, finishing my career at Creech AFB working on MQ-9 weapon systems.  It was during those final years that I discovered a new passion-making fishing lures.

What started as a hobby quickly turned into an obsession.  In 2020, I launched Get Out & Fish LLC with a mission: to create high-quality, affordable, and customizable baits that stand out from the crowd.  I wanted to offer something different-something that would make fellow anglers take a second look, not just at the colors and designs, but at the attention to detail and results on the water.

I grew up fishing in Oklahoma, and that love for the sport runs deep in everything I make.  Whether you're a weekend warrior or a seasoned guide, I believe you deserve gear that works just as hard as you do.

When I'm not making baits, I'm usually playing my guitar, watching football or squeezing in time to go fishing.
